Who I Am
2026 marks my 23rd year as a creative professional. After a brief, three-year journalism career I went to school and earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Multimedia Animation and Film. Following graduation, and with a few twists and turns along the way, I found myself in the world of graphic design and marketing.
While developing and executing projects for companies such as Audi, Volkswagen, DIRECTV, BP Oil, General Electric, Nestle, Red Bull, The North Face, Shell, and Toyota, I worked my way from graphic designer to Art Director. In 2016 I made the decision to return to film/video, and have had the opportunity to work as a producer, director, editor, and DP on projects for ABC Supply, American Cancer Society, Fords Gin, PBS, Old Forester, Chicago Humanities Festival, and more.
I am also currently directing, producing, and co-writing the feature-length documentary film Midway: The Story of Chicago Hip-Hop. Working on Midway has also given me some unexpected opportunities as a public speaker. I’ve had the pleasure to speak and give presentations at Google, the Michigan Avenue Apple Store, Chicago State University, Columbia College Chicago, Loyola University, Chicago’s CIMM Fest, and more.
